What You Will Do:

• Perform snow & ice operations
• Operation of heavy equipment (e.g., dump truck, loader) and hand tools (e.g., chainsaw)
• Hands-on maintenance of traffic and flagging
• Highway maintenance and repair work activities (e.g., pothole patching, spread berm, repair guardrails, crack seal, litter pick-up, drainage, vegetation management such as weed eating, brush cutting, and mowing)

These Winter Seasonal positions are TEMPORARY, unclassified appointments not to exceed 1,000 hours.

These positions are available in 8 counties (Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Wyandot Counties). Only one (1) application is necessary.
