HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Journeyman Cyber Threat Analyst to work out of Fort Meade, MD, OR Columbus, OH in support of a multi-national developed capability that connects respective existing national Secret networks and services to deliver improved information sharing capabilities between Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators.
- Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence.
- Investigates computer fraud or other electronic crimes, cracks files and system passwords, detects steganography, and recovers deleted, fragmented, and corrupted data from digital media of all types.
- Defines procedures relevant to securing technology, working with other team members to fulfill project requirements.
- Ensures chain of custody and control procedures, documents procedures, and findings in comprehensive written notes and reports.
- Assists project manager in developing a project plan, functional requirements, and delivery of secured IT infrastructures and applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 0 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- CISSP certification
- Experience in securing information systems, network infrastructures, or other related technologies.
- Possesses in-depth technical knowledge regarding up-to-date methods for securing information sources and delivery mechanisms.
- Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizen
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working with ServiceNow
- Experience working in or for the military
- Expertise in Multi-national Combatant Command-level military exercises, coalition networking in support of military operations, and/or Mission Partner Environments, such as Pegasus.
- Experience or interest in materials, material applications, defense systems, and/or supply chains.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
- Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Agile/Scrum Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Scrum, how Scrum is done, standard Scrum/Agile.
