Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Healthcare Route Driver – On-Site Facility Delivery professional to support hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Northeast Ohio.

This is not a traditional over-the-road driving position. While you will operate a company vehicle locally between facilities, the majority of your day will be spent inside hospitals and healthcare buildings delivering and disbursing products to designated departments and locations. No CDL required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, walking throughout large facilities, interacting professionally with healthcare staff, and working in climate-controlled environments protected from outdoor elements.

As a key representative of our company, you will ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with professionalism in active healthcare environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company box truck or van for local transportation between healthcare facilities.
• Deliver and disburse products within hospitals and medical facilities, placing items in specific internal departments, rooms, or storage locations.
• Walk extensively throughout large healthcare buildings while transporting product using carts, pallet jacks, hand dollies, or other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload products safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand dollies, or manual handling techniques.
• Verify product accuracy and maintain organized delivery documentation.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain professional interactions with hospital staff and facility personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols, healthcare facility guidelines, and company policies.
• Assist with warehouse staging and inventory preparation as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking throughout large hospital and healthcare facilities.
• Ability to lift and transport products safely.
• Comfortable performing active, movement-based work throughout the day.
• Ability to push carts and operate pallet jacks and hand dollies for product movement.

Qualifications

• Prior delivery, warehouse, logistics, healthcare distribution, or facility support experience preferred.
• Experience operating box trucks, cargo vans, or similar commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment including pallet jacks and hand dollies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing to obtain required vendor badges for healthcare facilities.
