We are seeking a Food Quality Technician to join our team! A quality assurance tech supports product development procedures to ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards. The quality assurance tech should be detail-oriented to ensure the manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
• Participate in routine inspections
• Ensures compliance with quality policies throughout all internal departments.
• Monitors manufacturing operations for quality compliance issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Keep accurate documentation
• Responsibility for enforcing all Food Safety/ Food Quality programs as dictated by the standards of SQF
• Prepares organization for FDA audits, third-party audits, and Gluten-Free audits.
  • Ability to create/maintain and investigate in-house AQL testing.
  • Ability to implement SOPs, work instructions and form documents pertinent to maintaining high standards of functioning in the production plant.

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of regulatory compliance
• Willingness to grow with the organization
