District Manager
- Direct and execute the overall sales and profitability of more than one office location through the effective execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE).
- Oversee day-to-day operations of our skilled optometric offices in the designated district, provide regular coaching and hands-on support to ensure effective operation and patient experience.
- Analyze office financial data and make recommendations regarding steps which can be implemented on the retail side of the business to improve profitability.
- Conduct site visits in order to ensure offices are functioning and meeting operational standards as well as provide immediate hands-on feedback and action to meet standards.
- Provide regular reporting to the Regional Director, Regional VP, HR, Marketing, and Finance.
- Regular travel with some overnight travel is required.
- Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred.
- Previous optical management experience preferred.
- Industry related experience will be beneficial.
- Favorable result on background check as required by state.
- This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—is required 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Work is primarily performed in a standard office or clinical setting. However, travel to other locations may be required to carry out essential job duties and responsibilities
