Candidates must be certified in accordance with NAS-410 and able to provide supporting documentation. Job Duties- Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) on castings in accordance with approved procedures, customer requirements, and applicable codes
- Set up and conduct radiographic exposures, including proper handling of radioactive sources
- Interpret radiographs to evaluate casting quality and identify discontinuities
- Accurately document and report inspection results
- Comply with radiation safety rules and all site-specific safety requirements
- Maintain and properly care for RT equipment and related documentation
- Current RT Level II certification (NAS-410 Preferred)
- Demonstrated experience radiographing castings
- RT classroom training hours
- RT on-the-job experience (OJT) hours
Strong knowledge of RT techniques and film interpretation - Must also have the ability to work independently in a production or inspection environment
