Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Akron, Ohio (44304) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Unit: 4 North Cardiac Telemetry (33 beds)
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: September 14, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020-$2070
• Patient Ratios: 1:5/6
• Float Requirement: Yes

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required) – Registered Nurse jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience
• 2+ years of recent charge nurse experience; comfortable taking charge on shift
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
• ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Experience with blood draws and IV starts/maintenance
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
• Solid black scrubs required
• Interview required; please provide availability

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a busy cardiac telemetry unit
• Serve as charge nurse, leading and supporting the healthcare team
• Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition
• Perform blood draws and start/maintain IVs
• Float to other hospital units as required
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
