Senior Information Systems (IS) Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Refurbish, repair, configure, and perform quality assurance (QA) on returned store hardware equipment.
- Stage and configure new IT hardware prior to shipment to field service technicians and stores.
- Administer asset tracking through internal inventory management systems.
- Process warranty claims and maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory movement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area while adhering to safety and handling guidelines.
- Lift and move hardware equipment regularly (up to 30 lbs independently, up to 80 lbs with assistance).
Skills:
- Willing to consider candidates with general IT hardware or support experience.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Requires basic technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
- Hardware refurbishment or QA experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required (some IT-related education or experience preferred)
