Lead
Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate with strong expertise in Cards domain UAT, bringing advanced skills in test automation, defect triage, and stakeholder management.
Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Lead Job Responsibilities Include- Lead end‑to‑end testing cycles in the Cards domain, including mandatory UAT planning, execution, and reporting.
- Define comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scripts while ensuring alignment with TDD/BDD practices.
- Manage defect triage meetings, track resolution progress, and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, QTEST, and TFS to manage test cases, defects, and overall test governance.
- Extract and analyze business requirements to ensure accurate and thorough test coverage across functional areas.
- Mentor and guide a team of testers, fostering quality standards and driving continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in software testing, including strong exposure to Cards domain and UAT.
- Proven expertise in test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, QTEST, or TFS.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholders, lead defect triage, and drive testing using TDD/BDD methodologies.
