  • Provide regional oversight and control of information security projects across the Americas.
  • Perform audits and regular reviews of cybersecurity risks within the Americas region and report findings to global leadership.
  • Support incident management by providing governance on security-related events (no operational tasks, though occasional involvement may be required).
  • Collaborate with global teams, including the Information Security Office in Germany, to maintain and align with corporate security standards.
  • Ensure proper logging and monitoring tools are implemented and configured to detect and alert on security events.
  • Support user access controls and identity governance processes across systems (IAM).
  • Participate in reviewing and coordinating vulnerability assessments, tracking patch management, and remediation efforts.
  • Support end-user awareness initiatives and help promote cybersecurity best practices throughout the region.
  • Commitment to staying current on emerging threats and evolving security technologies.
  • Support developing, implementing, and enforcing information security policies in collaboration with global and regional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for is:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience in IT with a cybersecurity focus.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and information security governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience communicating cybersecurity best practices to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP environments and supporting IT infrastructure.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Virtual Servers.
  • Experience working with Palo Alto Firewalls and routing policies is preferred
  • Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a strong plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly valued.

Physical Requirements:

Requires long durations in both an office setting at a computer and occasional work in manufacturing or warehouse environments. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds at waist level.

Mental Requirements:

Must work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving security threats and business needs. Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of staff and external partners. Ability to translate technical security concepts into business-friendly language. Self-starter with a proactive approach to continuous improvement, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Safety Requirements:

Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required, including safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, and hearing protection.

Direction & Decision Making:

Complete directives given either verbally or in writing, and support sound, security-focused decision-making processes across teams.
