Location: Huber Heights, OH

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Assignment Length: Remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher/Intervention Specialist to provide high-quality instructional services to K-12 learners with diverse needs. Under the direction of a Special Education Program Administrator, this educator will deliver individualized instruction, academic interventions, and collaborate closely with general education staff to support student success. Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

• Deliver targeted intervention, tutorial support, and skill-building strategies.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.

• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, progress reviews, and documentation.

• Utilize strong classroom management and maintain accurate student records.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred).

• Valid state teaching certificate/licensure as required by state and contract regulations.

• Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred).

• Preferred certifications:

• Standard Elementary Teaching

• Standard Secondary Teaching

• Standard Special Teaching

• Preferred endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1).

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray as required.

• Current health certificate per state or contract regulation.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
