Overview:

Moraine City Baptist Church (MCBC) is prayerfully and actively seeking a bi-vocational pastor.

Moraine City Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church in a blue-collar neighborhood that is a suburb of greater Dayton Ohio. MCBC is multi-generational church dedicated to worshiping and serving the Lord. MCBC is affiliated with Greater Dayton Association of Baptists, State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, and Southern Baptists Convention. MCBC currently averages around fifty attendees in Sunday service and thirty who attend Sunday School. MCBC mostly consists of retired members and has great opportunities for growth both physically in attendance and spiritually.

Expectations:

MCBC’s expectations for the Bi-Vocational Pastor are that he must be in compliant with The Baptist Faith and Message, amended June 14, 2023, and the Southern Baptists Convention.

Duties:

Lead the church to proclaim and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the application of the Bible. MCBC is seeking a pastor that will provide leadership, vision, and direction (1 Timothy 3:1-7).

Oversee church programs and develop church leaders and volunteers to further spread the Word of God and increase attendance and membership of the church, MCBC is searching for a pastor who demonstrates a personal commitment to discipleship and evangelism (2 Timothy 4:5).

The pastor will perform weddings, funerals, pastoral counseling. Be available to visit attendees and members outside of the physical church, in homes, hospitals, and offer support services.

Experience and personal availability will determine the hours and salary.
