Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43205
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:30 – 18:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults
• Call: 7-8 weeknights per 4 weeks and one weekend per month (rarely called in after shift); 45-minute response time required
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500-$2560

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Compact RN license or Ohio Registered Nurse license (must have license in hand)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system
• Two supervisory references required at submission (at least one from a supervisor or manager)
• First-time travel nurses must have over 10 years of RN experience
• Cannot have worked permanent at the facility within the last 2 years
• Willingness to float to other nursing units as needed
• No local candidates within a 60-mile radius of Columbus, OH

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiac patients
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data
• Operate specialized Cath Lab equipment and follow radiation and laser safety protocols
• Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, maintaining a 45-minute response time
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Float to other hospital units as required
