Role Summary

We are looking for a highly agile, client-facing onsite technical professional to support a software-heavy industrial automation engagement in Cleveland, OH. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technology background who can serve as the first line of defense onsite, represent the delivery team professionally with the client, and act as the communication bridge between the client, offshore India team, and internal leadership.

This is not a pure developer role and not a passive coordinator role. The person must be technically credible, highly responsive, polished in communication, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary onsite point of contact for day-to-day coordination at the client location.
• Serve as the first line of response for client questions, delivery follow-ups, issue escalation, and status visibility.
• Work closely with client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
• Provide pulse updates to leadership on project health, blockers, client sentiment, priority shifts, and action items.
• Track ongoing technical discussions, open issues, decisions, risks, and next steps.
• Support software-heavy industrial automation engagements involving troubleshooting, requirement clarification, validation coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Translate client-side asks into structured action items for offshore teams and follow through to closure.
• Join client meetings, summarize discussions, capture minutes, and drive follow-up accountability.
• Help manage day-to-day coordination across engineering, testing, validation, and support streams.
• Build confidence with the client through strong ownership, professionalism, urgency, and structured communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, manufacturing software systems, controls software, industrial applications, or related technical coordination roles.
• Strong experience in client-facing coordination, onsite support, technical program coordination, or solution delivery roles.
• Good understanding of industrial automation ecosystems.
• Exposure to PLC/SCADA/HMI/software validation/systems integration environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask across meetings, follow-ups, status reporting, and technical coordination.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity, escalations, and shifting client priorities.
• Ability to work with offshore teams and maintain high follow-through.
• Strong ownership mindset and urgency in execution.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience in software validation, testing coordination, requirement walkthroughs, or defect triage.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial software, smart factory, or automation solution environments.
• Experience supporting India-based delivery teams from a customer site.
