Landscape Irrigation & Lighting Tech
Responsibilities - Work independently or with a team of 1-2 members on customer properties to install and repair irrigation systems and landscape lighting.
- Identify opportunities for additional repairs or modifications to upsell services to clients.
- Ensure timely completion of routes while maintaining accurate records and logs in landscape management software (LMN).
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment and ensure vehicles are clean and professional in appearance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding route changes or issues.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience in irrigation and/or lighting.
- Backflow inspection certification is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify common landscape plants, pests, and weeds.
- Valid driving license and insurable by company insurance.
- Availability for snow maintenance during winter months.
- Proficiency in using LMN for time tracking.
Typical Day
- Clean and inspect all equipment for the day.
- Ensure that shop area is clean completed with work.
- Load truck with appropriate equipment for the day.
- Make sure truck and equipment are properly fueled.
- Receive instructions/route information for the day.
- Manage self or team while in the field, while staying on the appropriate route.
- Notify supervisor of any delays, changes in route, or issues.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the equipment, vehicles, and team.
Compensation
Salary: $21-$26 per hour plus pay-period bonuses.
