Dry Ally is a professional restoration company serving homeowners, businesses, and insurance partners throughout the Cincinnati market. We specialize in water, fire, and microbial remediation with a strong focus on clear communication, technical excellence, and doing the job right the first time. We’re growing and looking to add a seasoned technician who takes pride in their work and understands the responsibility that comes with restoration.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Restoration Technician with proven field knowledge and current IICRC certifications. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to operate independently while representing Dry Ally at a high level.
Certifications
- WRT - Water Restoration Technician (required)
- AMRT - Applied Microbial Restoration Technician (preferred)
- FSRT - Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (preferred)
Duties
- Perform water mitigation, fire/smoke restoration, and microbial remediation in accordance with IICRC standards.
- Accurately assess damage and determine proper mitigation and remediation strategies.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment; document daily moisture readings.
- Perform demolition, content manipulation, and job site containment as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation, photos, and job notes for insurance and internal records.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, property managers, and project leadership.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Represent Dry Ally professionally on every job, regardless of size or time of day.
Characteristics & Qualifications
- Proven field experience in water, fire, and mold restoration (not entry-level).
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
- Customer Service oriented.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various restoration projects.
- Strong understanding of drying science, psychometrics, and moisture mapping.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable—especially during emergency response.
- Comfortable with after-hours, weekend, and on-call rotations.
- Strong work ethic with the mental toughness to handle high-pressure situations.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Desire to grow into leadership roles as Dry Ally expands.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 35+ lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Professional appearance and respectful demeanor.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
