Software application engineer

Description

Summary: This role supports production systems and business intelligence tools across multiple manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will manage system administration, reporting, and database performance, while contributing to disaster recovery planning and in-house application support. Key Responsibilities: The role’s initial focus will be on supporting production systems such as labeling and traceability Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL databases and related infrastructure. Provide technical support for custom-built applications and resolve programmatic issues. Participate in testing and validation of new development and system changes. Assist in the creation and testing of disaster recovery plans. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, and SQL Server. Programming experience in C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, JSON, and XML. Strong understanding of Microsoft productivity tools and basic network configuration. Experience supporting IT hardware/software in a manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication, time management, and team collaboration skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVEs - Associate’s degree Computer Software, applicable certificates, or equivalent IT experience - 5+ Experience working with BRPG, CL, .NET, and VB6. 4 - Database Administration: Experience with SQL Server, including monitoring, tuning, and writing stored procedures. - Disaster Recovery & Troubleshooting: Ability to create and test disaster recovery plans and resolve issues in existing programs. Nice to Have - - Production Systems Support: Familiarity with Line Side Labeling, Traceability, IoT systems, and general IT hardware/software in a manufacturing environment.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.
