Join us as an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist and keep high-volume manufacturing equipment and plant systems performing at their best. This is a direct-hire role offering up to $38.00/hour based on experience and interview.

What a typical shift looks like

You clock in and review overnight work orders. A die casting cell is down — you pull up SLC 500, PLC 5, or Control Logix ladder logic to isolate a fault. An ABB robot (M94/M98/M2000/M2600/M6700) needs a position tweak; you diagnose and modify paths to restore cycle time. Between calls, you complete preventive and proactive tasks, then head to the floor to align a newly installed machine. You might weld a bracket (gas or electric), turn a part in the shop, and wrap up by documenting repairs and tidying a well-organized work area.

Key impact areas

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion issues to root cause and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
• Navigate and interpret Allen‑Bradley ladder logic (SLC 500, PLC 5, Control Logix) for fault-finding and recovery.
• Modify positions and diagnose performance problems on ABB robots (M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700).
• Install, move, level, and align new and existing equipment.
• Operate machine shop equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform both gas and electric welding operations.
• Complete repair records, handle related materials, and maintain an orderly work area.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks across plant equipment.
• Take on other related duties as assigned by supervision or team lead.

Schedule and pay

• Location: Twinsburg, Ohio
• Direct Hire Position
• Pay: Up to $38.00 per hour (based on candidate experience and interview)
• Shift Hours:
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 48 months of hands-on experience spanning Allen‑Bradley controls, hydraulics, robotics, and welding.
• Proficiency at the Maintenance Technician “A” level: able to troubleshoot die casting machine cells using PLCs along with electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to apply principles learned through technical/vocational coursework (certificates or some college).
• Comfort with a moderately physical role.
