Cyber Network Engineer

About Your Role

You will be at the forefront of protecting sensitive data and safeguarding our clients’ information by implementing advanced cybersecurity measures. Your role will be crucial in defending our network systems, data, and infrastructure from potential threats. Joining our dedicated cybersecurity team, you will collaborate with experts to design, develop, and deploy security solutions that ensure the highest levels of protection and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, and govern enterprise network security architectures across on‑premises, cloud, wireless, and perimeter (DMZ) environments.
• Review and provide oversight of security designs for on‑premises network infrastructure, including data center and campus network environments, to ensure alignment with established cybersecurity standards.
• Define and review security controls for perimeter and DMZ architectures, including ingress and egress filtering, segmentation, and exposure management.
• Establish and assess wireless security standards, including authentication, encryption, segmentation, and secure access controls.
• Identify security vulnerabilities across network, wireless, and perimeter technologies and recommend risk‑based mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security practices throughout the system and application lifecycle.
• Conduct periodic security assessments, control reviews, and audits to validate compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze security telemetry, logs, and tool outputs to identify control gaps, policy deviations, and emerging threats and drive the continuous enhancement of network and infrastructure security controls, architectural frameworks, and governance processes to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards.
• Develop, maintain, and review security documentation, standards, and operating procedures and serve as a subject matter expert for network security technologies and enterprise security architecture.

Experience You'll Need To Have

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, infrastructure security, data protection, and modern threat landscapes.
• Demonstrated experience in modern, large-scale corporate network environments, with strong understanding of core network switching and routing concepts, protocols and implementations.
• Provide expertise across key network security domains, including firewalls, web proxy solutions, wireless security technologies, and DMZ architectures, to support secure and scalable enterprise environments.
• Experience and advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and risk and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with deployments and integration of network security solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in areas such as IT, Computer Science, IT Security, etc. and/or professional certification such as CISSP preferred.

Experience That Would Be Great To Have

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.

Salary Range

$109,000.00 - $182,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
