The Counseling and Wellness Group is seeking a dynamic clinician to join the team! We are looking for a master’s level clinician (LSW, LISW or LPCC) with an interest in EMDR training or existing EMDR certification. Clinicians passionate about trauma informed therapy, polyvagal theory, EMDR, mindfulness-based therapy and somatic work are encouraged to apply.

About The Counseling and Wellness Group

CWG was founded in 2017 and is a woman-established and managed private practice in the heart of Twinsburg, Ohio. CWG utilizes evidence-based practices and aims to train all clinicians in EMDR as well as offer complimentary ongoing consultation as well as clinical supervision for LSW clinicians. Full time therapists offer 28 slots per week and function as independent contractors. CWG emphasizes a safe and compassionate culture for the clinical team and a welcoming environment to allow all clients to come as they are.

CWG clinicians can craft their own schedules to meet their needs and sessions are currently offered in hybrid remote/in person format. Clinicians are required to offer evening sessions once a week. Once established at the practice, this candidate could work remotely from home for part of the week.

Full-time LSW/LISW/LPCC Mental Health Therapist

Independently licensed preferred; CWG will offer clinical supervision to LSW candidates in accordance with state requirements

Position: Full-time Therapist (minimum 28 direct care hours per week)

Location: The Counseling and Wellness Group, Twinsburg, OH 44087

Availability: Monday-Friday (weekends optional based on candidate preference)

Hybrid option: Up to two days remote once case load is established

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·Perform initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, as well as documentation of treatment progress

·Document all client interactions, treatment plan updates, releases of information, notes, and other required documentation in a professional, ethical, and timely manner within our electronic health record system

·Attend monthly case consultation meeting (2 hours/month)

·Maintain strict confidentiality and client rights in accordance with your profession's ethics, State laws, and the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) Regulations, the Americans with Disabilities Act

·Follow Code of Ethics at all times while treating clients in a discrete, confidential, and sensitive manner

·Comply with all expectations and obligations regarding Mandated Reporting

Required Credentials:

- Preferred Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or dependently Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

- Certification or interest in completing EMDR training (Complimentary EMDR Training and ongoing consultation offered by CWG)

- Preferred experience working with children and teenagers (ages 8 and older)

- Ability to function autonomously and think critically through a trauma-informed lens

- Proof of liability insurance
