Cloud Software Engineer
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Westlake, TX. Overview: The Senior Software Engineer will assist in leading initiatives in Security Master and Pricing applications with a diverse scope and will act as the main interface between end users, product owners, and the information technology organization. The candidate will support Security Master and Pricing applications through deep technical knowledge of distributed systems, good understanding of business processes and system workflows. They will closely work with the Engineering leads, Enablement leads, and participate in research to identify effective new solutions design. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will combine the software development skills with native tooling from cloud providers and enterprise tooling to help develop cloud centric ecosystem leveraging cutting edge architecture and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Hands-on experience working in complex architectural designs and technology initiatives
- Passion for technology and can stay on top of the newest technology trends
- Highly motivated team player with strong communication and organization skills
- Experience working in agile development environment
- Hands on experience in Test Driven Development
- Application development on Public Cloud - AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53
- Front/back-end JS framework for Web Development such as Angular, NodeJS, Express
- Containerization technology like Docker (deployed on ECS, EKS)
- REST API development leveraging Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, and Spring Boot
