Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract
Join our travel team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Brookville, OH at a skilled nursing facility. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress according to facility and regulatory standards. This role supports continuity of care for residents and contributes to quality outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Ohio state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, instrumental assessment familiarity (e.g., FEES or MBSS) preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads in a facility environment and collaborate with rehabilitation team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records documentation preferred.
- Comfort providing therapy across varied acuity levels and interdisciplinary care plans preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 4 x 8 schedule (32 hours per week guaranteed).
- Five days per week coverage required.
