Assistant College Lecturer - Finance
The Department of Finance and Economics in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University is seeking applications for a full-time, non tenure-track Assistant College Lecturer of Finance beginning August 17, 2026.
This position is expected to teach 24 credit hours (onsite, off-site, and online) per academic year at the Undergraduate and/or Graduate levels and participate in department and college service activities. This position is expected to assist the department with other responsibilities, if possible, such as AACSB accreditation.
The Finance and Economics department employs 14 full-time faculty and offers coursework at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. Our department is housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business. The college employs 62 full-time faculty members. All programs are AACSB accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Enrollment exceeds 2,700 students, and the degrees we offer include: MIS, MBA, MHRM, MAcc, MSPM, MHCM, BA, BBA, BS, and a joint MBA-JD.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a closely related field to Finance;
- Prior experience teaching Finance courses;
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal degree in a closely related field to Finance;
- Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives;
- Experience with teaching financial modeling;
- AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) status;
- Professional certification.
