Job Summary:

The Meal Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of meals to client homes and distribution sites. This role ensures all orders are verified prior to departure, maintains delivery documentation and vehicle records, and serves as a key point of contact by reporting changes in client status. The driver also supports kitchen operations and maintains assigned vehicles and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load meal orders in a delivery vehicle and verify load against route log or pan/crate food counts.
• Deliver meals to client homes and distribution sites. Obtain client signatures via tablets.
• Report any change in client status to the customer care team.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date vehicle records, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports; copy all records and distribute as directed.
• Maintains tools or equipment found in the vehicle, such as emergency flares, jumper cables, and fire extinguishers
• Maintain exterior and interior of the vehicle
• Assumes additional duties as requested.
• Assist in the kitchen area as needed

Education and/or Work-Related Experience Requirements:

• Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and understand directions in English.
  • Knowledge of driving delivery vehicle.
