The Warehouse Manager oversees all daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory. This role involves coordinating staff, optimizing workflow, maintaining stock control, and implementing safety procedures to support company logistics and distribution objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse staff schedules, training, and performance.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and inventory management systems.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams.
- Monitor and report on warehouse operations metrics.
- Implement continuous improvements to warehouse processes.
- Manage equipment maintenance and operational budgets.
