Being the face of our company, the RoadDog Store Associate is absolutely vital to our business success. You are responsible for the sale of fuel and other in-store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting in the overall operations at the store providing the best customer service as a priority. This position also supports the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging each customer
• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
• Follow all city, county, and state regulations and procedures regarding the transactions of tobacco products, lottery tickets, and alcohol
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns
• Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise. Restock and front merchandise as needed
• Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager and overall security of the facility
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
• Uses Point of Sale system/cash register
• Assists with stocking of products and supplies
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the cooler

• Operating a cash register handling cash at high levels of accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers of varying levels of demeanor
• Ability to assess a situation and make a logical decision
• Quality personality, we want to build a team that enjoys spending time with one another
• Be a team player, have a positive attitude, and have a good work ethic.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds overhead.
