Salary: $25.37-$28.00/HR.

Job Description
Receives and discharges inmates; performs complete booking process including fingerprinting, photographs, etc. Performs search of persons leaving or reentering the facility for contraband; completes required forms necessary during booking and release process; prepares routine records, reports and files as required; makes proper entries into jail management software; operates video player software to review video in incidents recorded by jail security camera; uses Microsoft Outlook to send and receive electronic email.
Correction Officer Requirements:
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Willing to perform shift work
- Willing to work holidays/weekends and overtime
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

General Requirements for Employment:
- No felony convictions
- Valid Ohio Drivers License/ID
- Must be able to pass extensive background investigation including, but not limited to, the monitoring of social media accounts, prior law enforcement interaction, and personal & past job references
