JOB TITLE: Trim Room Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: Trim room Specialist supports our operations by creating finished products from dried and cured products and then sending the product to packaging to be sold.

In this role you will work to efficiently trim cannabis plants, while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for sale or processing. This person will be responsible for maintaining and following post-harvest procedures.

• Hand trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Sit for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming, as well as post trim upkeep
• Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch, in addition to usable by-products
• Operating heavy (manual) equipment such as metal carts, portable transport platforms in accordance with OSHA Regulations and Company policies and procedures.
• Operating Small equipment, (sorting machine, trimming machine, and rendering machine)
• Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and math
• Assure daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules

Trim room Specialists may be cross trained to care for products in other stages such as, bucking, packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment.

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

All applicants must pass a FBI fingerprint search and a BCI federal background search.

SKILLS:

• Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
• Ability to stand on feet, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or sit for extended periods of time
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
• Required to safely lift and/or move up to 25lbs on a frequent basis
• Ability to use repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
• Must have the ability to focus on a task for long periods of time • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Stipulation of employment is passing an OHIO BCI and FBI background check in accordance with ORC/OAC 3796
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must have accuracy and consistency while trimming and weighing product
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures
• Experience with legal marijuana growing, cultivating, and trimming preferred

WORKING HOURS:

This is a second shift position. The daily starting time is at 5:00PM. An eight-hour shift ends at 1:45AM. Overtime may be required at times but is not guaranteed.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

This is a starting position. Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and a strong work ethic is required to start.
