Mid-Level Data Analyst

Job Description

A Fortune 100 retail client in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team to support the collection, analysis and management of large datasets to improve insights and guide strategic direction for their eCommerce services. This resource will be uncovering opportunities and evaluating business tradeoffs through large amounts of datasets to guide their team to make business decisions. Other responsibilities include:

Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences, including executives, business partners, and technical teams.

Develop and present multiple solution options to stakeholders, explaining risks, benefits, and expected impact.

Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities that drive business outcomes.

Standardize and improve data processes, quality, and availability in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ Experience with Python modeling for large datasets (billions of datapoints)

• Experience with statistical modeling (regression testing, predictive modeling, and other advanced methods)

• Ability to present across division to different stakeholders

• 3+ years with Power BI building dashboards - Retail or manufacturing industry expertise

• eCommerce experience

• Experience quantifying business impact (ROI, cost savings, etc.)
