Representative Payee Coordinator

As a Representative Payee Coordinator, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the financial well-being of the individuals we serve while strengthening compliance and internal controls across our Residential Services division. Opening:

• Representative Payee Coordinator
• Full-Time 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible)
• Location: Westerville Ohio

What You’ll Do:

• Audit monthly Individual financial packages to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with Residential Financial Procedures.
• Reconcile and physically audit petty cash accounts across residential locations.
• Partner with Residential Managers and Coordinators to resolve variances, discrepancies, and documentation issues.
• Track submissions, maintain audit spreadsheets, and issue reports on missing or delinquent financial packets.
• Prepare annual Representative Payee Reports for the Social Security Administration and assist with applicable tax filings.
• Serve as liaison with the Social Security Administration regarding payee status, benefits, and documentation.
• Establish and maintain STABLE accounts and monitor balances to ensure benefit eligibility compliance.
• Collaborate with Residential and Finance Leadership to strengthen internal cash controls and recommend process improvements.
• Perform other related duties as requested by direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma required. A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• One year of experience auditing bank statements and general ledgers preferred.
• One year of experience in accounting or financial related role preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows Office 365, Excel, and Word.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to travel within Ohio required.
• Ohio Notary License or ability to obtain one required.
