**Job Title: Welder - Flux Core and MIG (1st and 3rd shift - $20-$25/HR)** **Job Description** Join our team as a skilled Flux Core and MIG Welder, where you will work with heavy gauge carbon steel and contribute to high-quality steel fabrications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols. **Responsibilities** + Perform Flux Core and MIG welding on heavy gauge carbon steel. + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately. + Utilize tape measures and measurement tools for precise fabrication. + Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely. + Use hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products. + Lift and adjust materials weighing 50-75 lbs. for welds. + Ensure cleanliness and organization in the work area. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting weld symbols. + Skilled in overhead, flat, and structure welding techniques. + Experience with Flux Core and MIG welding processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a well-known company that offers growth opportunities, promotions, and full-time steady work in the Youngstown area. The facility is a mix of new and old equipment and maintains a workforce of over 50 full-time employees, with shifts available around the clock. Metatarsal boots or covers are required for safety. Be prepared for an environment that is not well-lit and can be dirty. The position typically involves working 50 hours a week over six days. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Youngstown, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00/hr.
