Job Details

• Semi-local dedicated account
• Deliver furniture, appliances, electronics, and lawn equipment
• Operate 53-foot trailers and 26-foot straight trucks with lift gates
• Deliver directly to retail store locations
• Preloaded freight
• Touch freight position
• Driver unload required at each stop
• Consistent freight volumes throughout the year

Physical Requirements

This is a physical delivery position.

• Unload freight using lift gates and dollies
• Tailgate deliveries at customer locations
• Ability to consistently lift up to 100 pounds
• Frequent loading and unloading activities throughout the workday
• Ability to safely handle large and bulky merchandise

Equipment

• Freightliner and International sleeper tractors
• 2020 Freightliner straight trucks with lift gates
• Modern, well-maintained equipment
• Trucks must remain at the account during time off
• Drivers are required to park equipment at the distribution center
• No riders permitted

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
• Ability to consistently lift and move heavy freight
• Experience using dollies and lift gates preferred
• Strong safety record
• Professional and dependable work ethic
• Strong customer service skills
