Compensation: $25,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission ($70,000+ realistic first-year earning potential ) . $100,000+ for top performers

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and pitch advertising opportunities to local businesses (restaurants, boutiques, contractors, medical, travel, entertainment, and more).
• Sell and close customized on-air (abc 6 & CW Columbus) and streaming packages that showcase your clients on TV.
• Develop client relationships through consistent communication and creative collaboration.
• Coordinate shoots, interviews, and segment scheduling.
• Produce on-site shoots and help clients feel comfortable and confident during filming.
• Research new businesses and destinations for our special “Destination Road Trips” and “Cool New Finds” episodes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in advertising, media, or B2B sales (TV, radio, print, or digital).
• Not afraid to Pick up the phone.
• Strong Sales work ethic.
• Proven ability to prospect, present, and close deals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple clients at once.
• Professional appearance and reliable transportation required.
• Interest in local business, tourism, and community storytelling is a plus.
• You Bring the sales skill we will teach you the producing Skills.

Performance Goals

• Our base salary of $25K provides your steady foundation, while our aggressive commission structure rewards your hustle.
• An average performer closing 5-7 deals a week realistically brings home $70,000 total in their first year.
