Job Description:
The School Psychologist is a full-time, certified position reporting to the Director of Student Services. This professional supports students' academic, behavioral, and emotional development through comprehensive psychological services. The School Psychologist collaborates with educators, families, and service providers to ensure that students receive the interventions and support necessary to succeed in school.



Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations in accordance with state and federal special education requirements to support the identification of students strengths, needs and eligibility for services.
• Support staff in designing appropriate academic and behavioral interventions.
• Use data to inform decision-making, conduct program evaluations, and support IMTSS implementation.
• Collaborate with families and outside agencies to coordinate student services.
• Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting social-emotional learning and inclusive practices.
• Participate in professional development and provide training for staff and families.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines for school psychologists.
• Lead crisis intervention efforts and assist in the development of behavior intervention plans

Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university
• Valid Ohio Department of Education School Psychologist license
• Experience conducting evaluations and writing ETRs/IEPs
• Strong understanding of IDEA, PBIS, IMTSS, and trauma-informed practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data and implement evidence-based interventions
