We are seeking a Part Time Retail Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue. Retail Associates are our face to the customer. This critical role welcomes our customers and guides them through a positive customer experience. Retail Associates offer tastings, flavor recommendations, and fulfill orders. Additionally, Retail Associates assist with the preparation of online, phoned-in, e-mailed and wholesale orders. Finally, Retail Associates are responsible for the cleanliness of the facility. It is critical that our facilities be maintained in a clean manner and the Retail Associates are key to that success.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints

• Adhere to work schedule, ready to begin work at the start time.​​​​​​

• Scoop popcorn in a manner that reduced breakage.

• Adhere to allergen requirements.

• Ensure that quality standards are maintained.

• No crumbs in the order (shake popcorn as required).

• Bags full and properly filled.

• Accurate labeling.

• Record the purchases and collect payment in the point-of-sale system.

• Clean after sales when required to maintain cleanliness of the facility.

• Stock popcorn/products in the Retail Area.

• Mix popcorn for combined flavors (e.g., Jelly Bean, Chicago Mix, etc.).

• Process popcorn orders in the packing area while following all Food Safety Plan requirements.

  • Properly label bags

  • Fill bags, weighing each to ensure product label requirements are achieved.

  • Ensure quality standards are met with each bag.

  • Proper labels, popcorn, etc

  • Box popcorn for shipment

  • Provide customers with filled orders, ensuring payment for orders as required.

  • Clean bins after popcorn is emptied

  • Follow nightly checking of cleaning and safety items.

  • Properly record time worked.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers & staff team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
