Inside the Role This position provides support in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits, vendor relations, month-end close, year-end reporting, and other administrative tasks. It also requires a broad understanding of skills, knowledge, and procedures of the role. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $50,500.00 - $64,500.00 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits include annual bonus program; 401k includes up to 8% match and nonelective contribution; full coverage benefit plan options; starting at 4 weeks paid vacation; 13+ calendar holidays; 8 weeks paid parental leave; employee assistance program; comprehensive health and wellness programs; onsite fitness; tuition assistance and volunteer paid time off What You Drive at DTNA - Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules
- Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
- Provides ad hoc financial support
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects
- Process general accounts payable invoices for freight, discount and PO based vendors
- Provide innovative problem-solving skills to find new solutions to problems
- Works independently with limited supervision
- Acts as an informal resource for new colleagues with less experience and explain detailed and/or complicated information with team
- Provides input, advice, and recommendations related to job field
Knowledge You Should Bring - Associate degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Self-motivating with ability to work independently
- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
