Data Scientist Associate Sr - Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics

Join Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics to transform data into insight and improve how customers discover, open, and use our products. As a Data Scientist Associate Senior, you will partner across Product, Technology, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Risk/Compliance to inform strategy, shape measurement, and translate complex analysis into clear, dataâdriven recommendations.
Working in a crossâfunctional quad, you will deliver actionable intelligence that deepens engagement and supports longâterm, profitable customer relationships. You will own and evolve measurement for the digital shopping funnel, evaluate customer-level A/B experiments, and generate digital shopping journey insights that identify friction, improve discoverability, and increase conversion. You will elevate the quality of business intelligence, uncover opportunities to optimize digital shopping experience, and communicate insights to all levels of the organization. Curiosity, analytical rigor, visualization skill, and storytelling are essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze comprehensive customer digital shopping journeys to uncover deep insights, identifying friction points and opportunities to enhance discoverability and conversion and drive personalized and seamless digital shopping experience.
- Monitor digital shopping platform health to detect anomalies, partnering with marketing, product, and technology teams to diagnose and resolve issues to mitigate impacts to business results and customer experience
- Build and deliver best in class business intelligence through interactive dashboards and executive-level reports on customer engagement and digital shopping funnel health to enable quick decision making and inform marketing, product, and technology priorities
- Provide actionable analytics to inform business and marketing strategies for new feature launches and customer journey optimization, partnering with stakeholders to remove friction, boost conversion, and deliver measurable improvements
- Partner with Test Design to source data, size digital shopping experiments, and inform the experimentation roadmap; analyze A/B experiment performance and communicate results and recommendations to quad members and senior leadership
- Partner with the cross-functional team to implement growth-driven initiatives and develop ongoing measurements to monitor performance.
Collaborate with broader Analytics and Marketing teams to develop integrated stories on business performance drivers and customer behavior trends
Apply AI tools and automation to streamline analyses, reduce cycle times, and accelerate insights
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study
3+ years of relevant experience analyzing customer experiences and journeys
3+ years of experience with SQL and Python
3+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Alteryx
Hands-on experience with behavioral and transactional analytics tools and techniques
Experience working with Business Intelligence platforms to deliver dashboards
Experience with sizing and evaluating digital A/B experiments
Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish measurement frameworks
Strong PowerPoint and slide-writing skills to deliver analytical insights
- Strong communication skills to translate complex analyses into clear narratives for executive, business, and technical audiences
- Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Experience in financial services and/or other regulated environments
Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools (i.e. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cortex) to improve productivity and accelerate insights
Intellectually curious and eager to become subject matter expert in their focus area
Creative problem solver with strong analytical rigor
A strong communicator and able to build relationships with key stakeholders
