Job Title: Purchasing Specialist
Location: Frazeysburg, OH (with occasional travel to our Pataskala facility)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $21/hr (Negotiable; dependent upon experience)
Job Summary:
Ridge Corporation is a solutions driven manufacturing company that brings concepts to life through the application of composites and advanced materials. We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team as our Purchasing Coordinator. The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services essential for business operations. This role involves coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions of materials. The Purchasing Coordinator will report to the Director of Materials and collaborate closely with all organizational units including: Accounting, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Safety. This person will have multiple responsibilities and must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Coordinate and manage purchasing activities across departments
· Analyze organizational needs and determine required goods/services
· Research and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery
· Negotiate pricing and delivery terms
· Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
· Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment as needed
· Maintain accurate records of purchase, supplier agreements, and pricing
· Resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, or deliveries
· Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
· Prepare reports on purchasing metrics, cost analysis, and supplier performance

1. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
2. Strong organizational and time management skills
3. Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets and to avoid delay/expedition costs
4. Analytical mind with attention to details preferred
5. Self -motivated with the ability to work well with diverse teams of colleagues and clients
6. Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
7. Solid understanding of the procure to pay process.
