Product Repair-Mod Tech A
Job Description
Assists in the disassembly, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aerospace systems and components to correct failures and implement design changes. Performs fabrication, validation testing, and basic system support activities on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical assemblies under supervision.

- Contract - 6 Months
- 1st shift training period, then 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) or 3rd shift
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
- Pay Rate: $37.23 - $41.36 Hourly
- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions
- Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies, or units
- 1 or more years’ experience in soldering and assembling equipment components
- 1 or more years’ experience using handheld tools and/or power tools
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications
- 1 or more years working under a microscope
- Job Duties & Functions
- Assists with the disassembly of system components to support failure correction and modifications
- Assists with troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults
- Repairs or replaces faulty mechanical and electrical components
- Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components
- Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications
- Assists with handling aerospace vehicles, including jacking, towing, and system operations
