Full job description Company Overview Valley Truck Centers is a family-owned auto and commercial truck dealership with a rich history since 1964. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and a wide range of trucks, including Ford, Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu, across our locations in Northeast Ohio. Valley Truck Centers is a family owned auto and commercial truck dealership since 1964, serving Northeast Ohio with four franchises. We specialize in selling Ford, Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu trucks, along with offering comprehensive truck body shop services. Summary Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, hydraulic systems, starters/alternators, air conditioning systems, fan clutches, engine electronics, power steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, and/or differentials. Maintenance, such as changing oil or oil/fuel filters, inspecting vehicles for mechanical deficiencies, checking battery, auxiliary pumps and engines, tire pressures, headlights, and lubricating equipment. 2. Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, hydraulic systems, starters/alternators, air conditioning systems, fan clutches, engine electronics, power steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, and/or differentials. 3. Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and vendors. 4. Maintain safety culture and compliance. 5. Purchase and retrieve parts. 6. Maintain company issued service truck. 7. Utilize relevant information technology and applications for documenting work. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
WHAT’S REQUIRED
* Valid Driver’s License and must meet minimum driving qualification standards. • Vehicle service and repair experience or technical school education or equivalent combination of education/skills/experience. • Mechanical Knowledge • Vehicle Maintenance • Information Technology Savvy • Customer Service • Time Management • Entrepreneurial Nature & Independent Mindset • Deploying Safety Equipment, Devices, and Procedures • Critical Thinking • Possess and supply a set of own hand tools necessary to perform required job duties. • Ability to work flexible hours according to customer needs • Proficiency in using required information technology • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to pass DOT Physical Job Type: Full-time If you're ready to take your career to the next level with Valley Truck Centers, we invite you to apply today and become part of our dedicated team!
