Express Employment is searching for a dedicated 3rd Shift Welder to join a team in Toledo, OH. This position involves executing various welding tasks during the overnight shift, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained for our fabrication projects.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate welding equipment according to safety protocols
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet project specifications
- Perform welding using various techniques, including MIG and TIG
- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy, adhering to industry standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and production
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company safety policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of welding experience
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work 3rd Shift, with flexibility for overtime
