Technical Product Owner

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner to sit onsite downtown Cincinnati.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze and breakdown market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories

• Manage multiple features at once and ensure work gets delivered in prioritized order

• Drive requirements gathering and definition as needed for stories

• Work closely with development teams to deliver stories that add customer value at a regular cadence

• Be involved with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment)

• Articulates epics and features. Actively works with the team in decomposing epics/features into user stories that are granular enough for the team to estimate and work.

• Evangelizes and communicates product capabilities and roadmap to internal groups as well as externally to clients.

• Prioritizes the product backlog according to business value/ROI during planning

• Establishes business domain knowledge to the team and represent the customers needs.

• Coach and mentor team members

Skills and Requirements

5+ years as a Technical Product Owner designing or developing software

Ability to write user stories and requirements

Understanding of API and events/data

Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers and presentation layer tools Experience in a highly regulated industry such as Banking/Financial/Healthcare
