Applied Behavioral Connections is looking for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Wooster Location! As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on behavior intervention and skill acquisition.

Applied Behavioral Connections (ABC) was created in 2019 to bring compassionate and evidence-based ABA practices to Stark County. Since 2019, ABC has expanded to Stark, Wayne, and Tuscarawas counties. We specialize in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Qualifications:

  • Minimum age is 18yrs old
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - College Degree Preferred
  • Must be willing and able to pass a background check
  • Must pass an abuse registry check
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician Certification or willingness to complete training (no cost to you) before starting
  • Must be comfortable working with children diagnosed with autism
  • Commitment to upholding behavioral health ethical and professional standards

Position Information:

  • Set weekly schedule: 9am-3pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 9AM-6:30 pm Tuesday and Thursdays
  • Full time and Part Time positions available (No weekends)
  • Client age ranges from 2-18yrs old
  • Paid lunch break
  • Earn up to 2 weeks PTO per year

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Implement Client's Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
  • Complete Client's 1:1 Treatment Goals
  • Collect Data
  • Play and engage with client for duration of session
  • Support clients with activities of daily living (ADL's) as needed
  • Complete session note within 24hrs of session completion
  • Complete end of day form for parents/ caregivers

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Hazards: incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior
