Sr Software Engineer - Secret
Job Description
Provide source code, configuration, and technical resolution support.
Apply advanced research methods to solve complex software challenges.
Lead major project phases, coordinating technical teams and resources.
Conduct in-depth investigations, testing, and reviews of technical solutions.
Assess feasibility by analyzing requirements, defining problems, and evaluating proposed solutions.
Document solutions through diagrams, flowcharts, and technical notes.
Define system specifications, standards, and implement coding and installation.
Improve processes by analyzing systems and recommending policy or workflow changes.
Support software procurement decisions through vendor analysis and product testing.
Gather and summarize development and service-related data for actionable recommendations.
Deliver results aligned with organizational engineering objectives.
Develop software solutions by analyzing user needs, system flows, and applying Agile methodologies.

Skills and Requirements
U.S. Citizen
(MA/MS) Degree from an in a related technical discipline and 8 years of experience, or
BA/BS Degree a related technical discipline and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, or,
16 years of directly related technical software development experience with proper certification.Must possess and maintain a T3/SECRET Clearance
Must possess knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies and development tools:
Agile principles, methodologies, and enabling technologies, e.g., Kanban, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, CheckMarx, SonarQube, Zephyr.
Cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI.
General cloud technologies, e.g., elasticity, scalability, IaC, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, on-demand instantiation, containers, Kubernetes, serverless/Lambda.
Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ - Required
Agile Certifications - Desired
