Schedule: 1 week per month (7 days on/7 days off rotation). 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with 24-hour neuroendovascular coverage and responsibility for ED stroke alerts around the clock. Includes 12 hours in-house and 12 hours beeper coverage based on facility needs.
Highlights:
- Locum tenens position at a Level 1 Trauma Center with significant stroke volume
- Inpatient-focused practice with 10-12 patients on daily census, plus new stroke and IR cases
- Perform thrombectomy and neuroendovascular procedures as clinically appropriate
- Adult and geriatric patient population in a hospital-based setting
- EMR: Epic documentation system
- Travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, and rental car
Requirements:
- Board Certified Interventional Neurologist
- Active Ohio medical license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1-2 years of neuroendovascular experience
- Ability to perform 24/7 neuroendovascular and ED stroke call coverage
- Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 120 days
