Tool Crib Attendant

General Job Description:

Title: Tool Crib Attendant

Department: Technibus Assembly

Reports To: Assembly Supervisor

Classification: Non-Exempt

Shift: 1st

Duties & Responsibilities

• Track and maintain inventory in tool crib (utilizing inventory software)
• Cycle count/ spot check to ensure accurate quantities
• Fill out purchase requisitions for products needed
• Sign products in/out
• Track usage of consumables/ products by employee
• Receive deliveries from shipping department and promptly put product away
• Break down boxes for compactor
• Use cardboard compactor
• Maintain tidy work area

Specific Qualifications:

Required Skills & Abilities

• Identify basic hand tools
• Basic computer knowledge

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in a production environment preferred
• Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training, (LOTO)
  • Onsite training available

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a production environment
