Locally owned and operated by educators, we are seeking a dedicated, team-oriented candidate who is passionate about helping students.

We currently operate two Centers in the Columbus area. This position is for the Lewis Center location.

Huntington Learning Center, founded in 1977, is the nation's oldest provider of supplemental education. The mission of Huntington Learning Center is to give every student the best education possible. We accomplish this through individualized instruction based on the results of each student's academic evaluation results.

SUMMARY :
We have an opening for an Assistant Director. In this key position, you will build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents and become proficient in all aspects of center operations. This job blends education and business and will prepare you for potential growth within our company. This position is currently 24-34 hours per week with the protentional of becoming full-time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Managing administrative tasks, specifically scheduling.
• Monitoring and maintaining daily center activity.
• Working closely with students: administering evaluations and assisting new students.
• Scheduling appointments for parent conferences.
• Providing quality customer service at all times.
• Participating in local marketing activities.
• Performing general office duties - data entry, scheduling, customer service, billing, inventory, phone calls, etc.
• Hire, Train, and Manage part-time teaching staff.

• Computer skills - must be computer literate at a general business level (word processing, Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Outlook e-mail functionality).

• Mon-Thursday, 12:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (These times may vary ).
