Class A/Non CDL Drivers

A moving company is seeking Class A and Non-CDL Drivers to transport and assist in loading and unloading products into and out of trucks. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Duties:**

• Drive a 26' box truck
• Pick up and safety transport goods and ensure contents are properly secured
• Perform inspections of vehicle prior to and following each trip
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
• Obey all traffic laws and drive according to weather/road conditions
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Load and unload vehicles by hand or by using a hand truck or dolly
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and make safety a priority at all times

Qualifications:

• Two years commercial driving experience is preferred
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Must have the ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs, requests, and assistance
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently 100 pounds, and occasionally more than 100 pounds
• Must have work boots
• Must have the ability to follow all policies and procedures
• Must have a valid drivers' license, a clean record, a DOT Card, sense of direction, and be able to efficiently use GPS or other routing systems
• Must have a polite and friendly personality with a neat appearance
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality

Only candidates that can pass a background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered.
