Emerging Initiatives Lead
Emerging Initiatives Lead
Full Time
Columbus, OH
AndHealth is on a mission to radically improve access and outcomes for the most challenging chronic health conditions with the goal of making world-class specialty care accessible and affordable to all. We partner with health systems, community health centers, plans, and employers to remove barriers to care to ensure all people have access to the care they deserve.
We are looking for an Emerging Initiatives Lead who can take bold ideas and turn them into real-world outcomes. This role is designed as a launchpad into the company — a chance to work side-by-side with our executive team, gain broad exposure across operations, partnerships, finance, clinical programs, and product, and deliver visible results that shape the future of our business. The ideal candidate is a high performer from a top consulting firm or a growth-oriented company who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys getting their hands dirty, and knows how to turn strategy into reality. You’ll be asked to tackle initiatives that sit at the intersection of strategy and execution: structuring solutions, aligning teams, and driving progress from concept to launch. If you are motivated by solving tough problems, learning quickly, and making a measurable impact, this role offers the opportunity to accelerate your career while advancing AndHealth’s mission.
This position will report to the Senior Director of Partnership Operations . In the absence of the Senior Director, this position will report to the next level manager unless otherwise defined or assigned.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Partner with the SVP of Partnerships and interface regularly with senior executives including the CEO, SVP of Finance + Accounting, SVP of Operations, VP of Marketing + Enablement, and SVP of Product.
- Strategy Enablement: Take new strategies and programs from concept to implementation. Develop designs, SOPs, and training to bring initiatives to life (e.g., launching clinical programs for patients with complex medication needs).
- Account Management Infrastructure: Build systems and tools that make complex partnerships run smoothly—such as executive dashboards, performance review materials, and workflows to track and resolve partner needs.
- Partnerships Enablement: Support AndHealth’s Deal Desk, developing proformas, preparing contracts, and guiding weekly decision-making meetings to move partnerships across the line. Document and communicate decisions clearly and consistently.
- Problem Solving: Partner with stakeholders across the company to tackle some of the organization’s most pressing strategic and operational challenges.
- Dashboard Management: Create and manage dashboards alongside AndHealth’s analytics team to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new and evolving initiatives, and provide regular updates to invested stakeholders.
- Project Management: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by AndHealth’s leadership team, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate meetings and events related to priority projects, to enhance the communication and collaboration across senior leadership and team stakeholders.
- Meeting + Material Preparation: Support AndHealth’s leadership team in preparing for meetings, including gathering and organizing relevant materials, drafting agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Graduate degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or related) preferred but not required.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a top-tier consulting firm or a high-performing growth environment.
- Track record of delivering complex projects and driving outcomes in ambiguous settings.
- Strong ability to structure problems, build frameworks, and communicate clearly with senior leaders.
- High attention to detail and ability to create operational tools and processes that drive clarity and accountability.
- Team-first mindset: willing to dig in, roll up sleeves, and make things happen.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, partnerships, or program design.
Here’s what we’d like to offer you:
- Equal investment and support for our people and patients.
- A fun and ambitious growing environment with a culture that takes on important things, takes risks, and learns quickly.
- The ability to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and conscientiousness, and find joy in working together.
- A team of highly skilled, incredibly kind, and welcoming employees, every one of whom has something unique to offer.
- We know that the overall success of our business is a collaborative effort, and we strive to provide ongoing opportunities for our employees to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
