Plating Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated Plating Supervisor to oversee the analysis of chemicals and monitoring of the plating process to ensure the high quality of all manufactured parts. This full-time position entails working Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:**

• Proficient in managing tank and weirs levels, formulation, air agitation, filtration, and chemical maintenance procedures
• Regularly oversee, clean, and replace all filtration and regeneration systems as per the chemical maintenance schedule
• Capable of interpreting various instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment around the chemical storage area, filtration systems, regeneration equipment, and recovery apparatus
• Provide guidance and support to fellow plating technicians when necessary
• Adhere to established work practices, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring the correct usage of safety equipment
• Undertake any additional duties as required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with prior Aviation experience
• Proficiency in hazardous material handling, solution maintenance, basic chemistry, basic plating on plastic training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Preferably, experience in plating on metal
• Familiarity with tank and weirs operations including level checks, formulation, air agitation, filtration, and chemical maintenance
• Ability to comprehend various instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Strict adherence to safety regulations and proper utilization of personal protective equipment
• Physically capable of standing for 8 hours and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Team player with effective communication skills
• Maintain a tidy work area while adhering to company, safety, and environmental protocols
• Stable work history with excellent attendance record
